Emma Metcalfe Hurst is an award-winning archivist and art librarian. She currently works as a special collections librarian and archivist at the Rhode Island School of Design and was the ‘23-‘24 Kress Fellow in Art Librarianship at Yale University’s Haas Arts Library and the Yale Center for British Art. During her fellowship, she co-created a day-long artists’ studio archives workshop to teach artists best practices for preserving and managing their digital materials and physical artworks.
