About the artist:

Louise Reimer is a queer artist and illustrator living and working on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Tsawwassen, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. She mainly works in drawing and sculpture.

Her work explores the relationship between nature and the urban industrial landscape, symbolism, and the creation of identity. 

In addition to her art practice, Louise’s second illustrated book is set to be released in October 2023 by Greystone Kids.
