Job Call: Administrative Intern (Fall 2022)
Peripheral Review
Remote and/or in-person (Vancouver/Toronto)
Deadline to apply: The job call is now closed.
Description:
Peripheral Review is seeking an emerging artist, writer, organizer, or art administrator to help with various administrative duties related to producing, advertising and disseminating the 2022 print issue, as well as online content from October 25 – December 31, 2022. The position is flexible and remote, with opportunities to work with the Editors in-person if the candidate is based in either Vancouver or Toronto to help with book fairs and issue launches. The position pays an honorarium of $1,200 in two instalments, for approximately 43 total hours of work throughout the time period ($28/hour). An interest and dedicated investment to the Canadian emerging art community is a must for the position, as it is designed to give valuable work experience to an emerging artist or otherwise invested community member who is interested in learning more about arts publishing.
