Peripheral Review is excited to announce the launch of the special publication, Remember Tomorrow: A Telidon Story co-produced by Peripheral Review for the opening of the exhibition at InterAccess on Wednesday September 6, 2023.
Remember Tomorrow: A Telidon Story is an exhibition curated by Shauna Jean Doherty that presents Canada’s first networked computer artworks while capturing the excitement that surrounded the Telidon technology in its day with archival equipment, a collection of ambitious promotional material and 12 restored interactive works, most of which have never been on public display.
The publication features specially commissioned essays by John Durno, Noor Bhangu, Madeline Bogoch, Sarah Holloway, and Rebecca Noone, alongside images and biographies of the 15 artists in the exhibition, and details of the archival VHS tape compilations.
There are a limited number of copies available, so be sure to come to the opening on September 6th and take this incredible publication home!
The publication was designed by Vicky Lum and printed by Colour Code Printers in Toronto, ON.
