Angel Callander is a writer, editor, and curator in Toronto. She completed her MA Art History and Visual Culture at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2018. Previously she was Assistant Editor of Peripheral Review from 2021-2023. Her writing can be found in publications such as C Magazine, PUBLIC, esse arts + opinions, BlackFlash, Canadian Art, and Cornelia, among others. She has also contributed essays to the anthologies Imagining Futures of Experimental Media (Pleasure Dome, NIMAC & OddSite Arts, 2023), Architecture and the Smart City (Routledge, 2019), and Interface Critique (Kulturverlag Kadmos, 2016).
