Derek Coulombe is an artist, writer, and researcher based in New York City. His interests circulate around experimental writing, found imagery, and the relationships between visuality, physicality, and critical disability. His writing has previously appeared in Blackflash Magazine, ReIssue, Moire, Des Pair Quarterly, Peripheral Review, TBA, and others. In the summer of 2022, he was a Short-Term Research Fellow with the Warburg Institute (University of London). He is currently a Chester Dale Interdisciplinary Fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
