Sean Weisgerber is an artist based in Toronto working in painting, printmaking and installation. His work centres on the nexus of art and commerce with an interest in how art and labour are commodified. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in the US and Canada, exhibiting at Arsenal Contemporary (New York), The Plumb (Toronto), Open Studio Contemporary Printmaking Centre (Toronto), The Foreman Gallery at Bishop’s University (Sherbrooke), The New Gallery (Calgary), Ace Art (Winnipeg), the Mendel Art Gallery (Saskatoon), AKA Artist-Run (Saskatoon), Wil Aballe Art Projects (Vancouver) and Cooper Cole Gallery (Toronto).
